TOUR OUR BARN
EJ |
AVAILABLE FOR SALE OR LEASE |
Rescued in 2015 at eleven years old by Forgotten Angels, this Thoroughbred gelding came to us after undergoing several stifle surgeries with the label of "dangerous" because of his behavior on the track. This silly chestnut has been rehabbed and is now lovingly referred to as our class clown. When not helping us teach students he is usually seen out in the field chasing his friends around and stirring up trouble. EJ has helped first-time archers shoot their first arrows off him and is also in our hunter jumper program.
Express |
AVAILABLE FOR SALE OR LEASE |
![]() Express was another Thoroughbred rescue that came to us from Forgotten Angels in 2015. We were given explicit instructions that he could not be handled or ridden because he was such a dangerous animal. Another rehab case, Express has the biggest heart in our barn and the children love to do silly things with him while he eats up all the attention. While loving to jump, he is also a part of Garden State Horse Archers program.

Isabeau (Izzy)

Forgotten Angels saved this Percheron mare from the Cranberry auction in December 2016. She came to us as a constant shaking leaf who would sit on her haunches like a circus pony if you looked at her too harshly. These days she is a completely different horse who trusts us completely. She is a great trail horse and pulls our carriages (and anything else we hook her up to).
TobyWhen Jessica first met Toby he was skin and bones. His owner was selling him and two other horses, with the audacity to haggle over a price for them. Needless to say, she could not leave them in that person's possession and the three horses came home with her that day. It took Toby a year to regain his health to be well enough to ride. These days he has proven invaluable to us as a competition and lesson horse. He is active in the hunter ring however he truly loves archery the most.

Rio |
AVAILABLE FOR LEASE |
Rio is a sweet, calm Hanoverian
Cheyenne |
AVAILABLE FOR LEASE |
Cheyenne is a red roan Paint mare who was brought in for training by a customer for bucking. Another success story, this mare is now a solid lesson and trail horse. These days she loves children and enjoys a successful career in the show ring.
Cricket |
AVAILABLE FOR SALE OR LEASE |
Cricket is a five year-old large pony hunter here for training and offered for sale. He is a prospect for many disciplines as he is easy going enough for western pleasure and scopey enough for the hunter jumpers. Being a straight forward pony with a willing attitude, our hopes are very high with this cool dude.
Chick
Fan favorite Chick has a pretty special story. You may have seen him around town or that viral picture of him standing in a parking spot outside the Franklinville Wawa.
